Artificial intelligence capability: Conceptualization, measurement calibration, and empirical study on its impact on organizational creativity and firm performance
Developing an AI capability, which involves a combination of tangible resources (data, technology, basic resources), human skills (technical and business), and intangible resources (coordination, change capacity, risk proclivity), leads to increased organizational creativity and firm performance. Furthermore, organizational creativity was found to positively influence firm performance, suggesting an indirect effect of AI capability through enhanced creativity.
