Exploring #HealthLiteracy on LinkedIn: a first look at health hashtag engagement in a professional social media context

This study examined how the hashtag #HealthLiteracy is used on LinkedIn, finding that discussions are primarily centered around professional aged care and institutional settings. Engagement was predominantly passive, with reactions (likes) far outnumbering comments and reposts, which may reflect the platform's professional culture. The study was limited to a one-week sample and faced data access constraints due to LinkedIn's API limitations.

Scientists’ Views about Attribution of Global Warming

A survey of 1868 scientists found that 90% of those with more than 10 climate-related publications agree that human-caused greenhouse gas emissions are the main driver of recent global warming. The study also suggests the phrasing in previous IPCC reports may have led to underestimations of the warming effect of greenhouse gasses. Scientists who downplayed the human role in climate change reported more media coverage.
