This study examines the potential of Open Educational Resources (OER) and Open Educational Practices (OEP) to mitigate the disruption to education caused by the COVID-19 outbreak in China. It proposes an OEP framework and offers guidelines for educators and learners on effective OER and OEP implementation. Finally, it discusses urgent strategies applied by the Chinese government and educational institutions to support open and distance learning and suggests future recommendations for improved OER/OEP adoption.
The study found that students perceive both advantages and disadvantages to e-learning. While they appreciate the flexibility and access to information, they also experience increased social isolation and challenges related to technology dependence. These mixed findings suggest that e-learning is a complex phenomenon with both benefits and drawbacks for students.
This study investigated the accessibility, usability, and satisfaction of library users regarding hybrid resources and services in Albay, Philippines. The findings reveal high satisfaction with library resources and services. It also shows that physical resources are preferred over digital despite a lower accessibility for digital resources, and that library hours are the most practical service for users.
