The sustainable transformation of business events: sociodemographic variables as determinants of attitudes towards sustainable academic conferences
Women and older adults show significantly more favorable attitudes toward sustainable academic conferences. Surprisingly, attendees' field of research and geographic region had little impact on their attitudes. These attitudes focus mainly on sustainable venues, catering, accommodations, and materials, while transportation is the least important factor.
